If you have gambled chances are you have at lost, losing is career ending for most handicappers, most can’t handle the swings. Let’s face it losing is a very real part of sports betting and if you have had any success, you have experienced losing. Mostly it’s the pressure from friends and family that lead most to quit handicapping. Very few make it in the gambling business the over the long haul, I have been gambling to make money for 20+ years.

If you are on a losing streak the good news you will win again and another winning streak is just around the corner, at this point, it’s all about math. Even a winning handicapper can go long periods without winning, no matter how low you feel it will all soon forgotten.

If you are serious about sports betting, studying hard and keeping a positive attitude is how to come out of bad losing streaks.

Keep your friends close, you are only as good as the people around you. A good support system helps and being connected with other positive winning sports bettors.

Alienation of people, shutting out love ones and negative attitude long enough you can also lose your mind too.

As an exercise when I lose I turn it into a winner by writing about it, I think back on what I could have done to maybe turn it into a win. By writing at least I have gained back something for my time.

Gambling has taught me many things. Some good some bad.
